This silk & sequin Bill Blass is a stunning combination of textures and technique! Judy wore this when she and Jane attended the launch party of boutiques.com and looked amazing in it! The bodice is an attached overlay that tops an inner silk top and is made of a combination of sequins and white ribbon that has been hand applied onto a black lace backing. The ribbon is used to form little rosebuds that peek through the sequin work and look like his signature dot from a distance but have texture and visual interest when looked at closer. This sits over a tiered skirt constructed of black and white organza stripes. Each stripe is edged in a black lace trim. A wide silk satin sash circles the waist and nips it in. The skirt has a nice fullness to it - there is another full full layer of organza under the top layer that gives it shape and fullness. Excellent condition)
